Kapama Buffalo Camp is located 5h40 minute drive from Johannesburg, in the 13 000 ha Kapama Private Game Reserve, which offers an exclusive Big 5 experience.
Buffalo Camp offers a luxury old-Africa tented accommodation experience, along a seasonal river, surrounded by tall trees.
The 10 luxury tented suites are set on stilted wooden decks built on an elevated riverbank. Each luxury tent has air conditioning for summer and heated under-blanket to keep the cold at bay on winter nights. Oil lanterns are lit to illuminate the walkways at night adding to the African ambience.
Facilities include a lounge nestled under a thatched roof, a rustic outdoor boma, and an elevated rim-flow pool with views of the forest canopy.
Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request.
