Kruger Shalati – The Train on the Bridge

Kruger Shalati is located 5h48 minute drive from Johannesburg, in the Kruger National Park, Skukuza, near the Paul Kruger Gate.

First of its kind Kruger Shalati, is permanently stationed on the historical Selati Bridge above the Sabie River. In the early 1920’s, the train would park overnight in the exact spot, where Kruger Shalati is positioned. The 24 Carriage rooms and 7 Bridge House rooms, provide a deeply visceral experience. The Carriage rooms offer glass walls, offering spectacular views and beautiful sunrises.

Facilities include spectacular decks, relaxing lounge areas, fire pits, indoor and outdoor dining, cocktail bar, 2 plunge pools, all areas offering spectacular views.

Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request.
