Coral Lodge, is located on Ilha de Mozambique, also known as Mozambique Island an UNESCO World Heritage Site
The lodge has 10 luxurious Villas, located on the peninsula, overlooking pristine beaches and a lagoon. Lagoon Villas are perched above lagoon that winds through the mangroves below. Each villa has an open plan lounge area and private deck, including an outside shower. The Beach Villas each have ocean views, also open plan lounge area and private deck and strategically positions for viewing a beautiful sunrise. A Family Beach Villa located on the beachfront includes a second bedroom with two bunk beds.
Facilities include an open-air restaurant, with wooden deck overlooking the ocean, cocktail bar, lounge, salt-water mosaic styled pool, and private colourful salas, dotting the shoreline.
Activities include wellness treatments, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, exploring Ilha de Mozambique, Whale Watching and Dolphin sightings, sunset sail by traditional dhow, fishing and Baobab tree picnics, sundowners, and private island picnics. SA Airlink – Johannesburg to Nampula Airport on SA Airlink (Every Tuesday & Thursday) then a adventurous 2.5-hour transfer from Nampula to Ilha de Mozambique Pier and 30-minute boat transfer to Coral Lodge. It may appear to be like the “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”, but its a fun trip, with lots to see and a real experience. The time flies by.
