Explorers Camp is located 3h430 drive from Johannesburg, in the Marataba Contractual Park, within the 23 000ha beautiful, untouched, Big 5 Marakele National Park.

Explorers offers a very laid-back and outdoor environment and is located directly in front of a water hole. There are 5 tents and one family tent within fenced grounds. Facilities include gardens, firepit, outdoor seating and dining.

Staying at the Marataba Conservation camps is a great adventure, balancing relaxation, and conservation. Activities are all interpretive and interactive with conservation focused guides, and include tracking cheetah, boat trips down the Matlabas, sundowners, counting elephant, game drives and more, involving all areas of conservation.
