Amakhosi Safari Lodge

Amakhosi Safari Lodge is located 5h34 drive from Johannesburg and 4h08 from King Shaka International Airport, on the banks of the Mkuze River, in the Big 5 Amakhosi Private Game Reserve.

The lodge, surrounded by savannah, wetlands, and mountains, in 12 000 ha of traversing has 6 luxurious river suites and two honeymoon suites. The suites have wall to ceiling windows, and a private viewing deck. An Interchangeable lounge area is available in 2 of the suites, converting to a second bedroom for children. The honeymoon suites have high thatched ceilings, glass walls, large deck, lounge, bubble pool and hammock overlooking the river.

Facilities include gardens, swimming pool, dining area, lounge, gym and the Amakhosi River Spa.

Activities include Frogging safaris, a game walk of a different nature, discovering the fascinating world of amphibians.

Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request.
