Impodimo Game Lodge is located 4h20 minute drive from Johannesburg, in the 75 000 ha, malaria free, Madikwe Game Reserve, which offers a Big 5 game viewing experience in a breathtaking setting bordering Botswana.
Impodimo’s rustic elegance and old world charm provides 8 luxury chalets and a deluxe suite. The chalets offer wall to ceiling windows overlooking the bush and stove fireplaces, and the deluxe suite includes a lounge, full bar, entertainment deck, 2 double en-suite rooms, and a private plunge pool frequented by elephant.
Facilities include a lounge, cocktail bar, envied central copper fireplace, library, dining area, boma and swimming pool. To add to its special charm, the lodge boasts a fully stocked bar in the underground elephant hide overlooking a watering hole.
Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request. Unique to few lodges, Impodimo has trackers on their vehicle providing a great interactive and successful game viewing experience.
