Marataba safari lodge is located 3h48 drive from Johannesburg, in the 23 000ha pristine, untouched, Big 5 Marakele National Park.
The lodge, offering spectacular landscapes, has 15 luxury tented suites made up of stone and canvas. The suites offer a shaded deck on stilts offering incredible bush views. There are 4 suites that are family tents including a children’s bedroom with a bunkbed, offering ample toys and games.

The unique Thabametsi Treehouse offers a bucket list experience, with a magnificent deck, open bedroom, lounge, and bush bathroom.

Facilities include a main lodge bar, lounge, dining area, boma, viewing deck, kosher dining offer, swimming pool, in-room spa and the Mack & Madi Kids’ Adventure Safari Club.

Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with Miss Mara water safaris and specialist Trail hikes.
