Phinda Forest Lodge is located 6h24 drive from Johannesburg and approximately 3h00 drive from King Shaka International Airport, in the 28 555 ha, Big 5, Phinda Private Game Reserve.
The lodge, one of the first eco lodge is set in the heart of a shaded 1000 ha sand forest (Africa’s last remaining dry sand forest) and enveloped by a dense canopy of overhanging torchwood trees. The 16 glass walled suites offer incredible surrounding views of the forests, giving game viewing a unique angle with plenty duiker and bushbaby visits.
The facilities include a rim flow swimming pool overlooking a small waterhole, expansive decks, panoramic views of an open grassy meadow, lounge, interactive kitchen, dining area and boma area.
Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, along with bush walks on request..
