Tau Game lodge is located 4h30m drive from Johannesburg, in the 75 000 ha, Big 5, Malaria free, Madikwe Game Reserve.

Tau Game lodge is uniquely positioned in a spectacular area overlooking a large natural waterhole spanning the entire lodge area. It is a wonderful opportunity to be able to see herds, and herds of elephant from any room or any area of the lodge. The 36 chalets, comprising of 20 standard chalets and 16 deluxe chalets, each with a private deck are located on each side of the lodge in a U shape, facing the waterhole.

Facilities include fabulous walkways, a bar, kiddies club, library, a lounge area, dining area, fantastic decks, swimming pool, Oasis spa and conference centre.

Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay, as well as bush walks.
