Thakadu River Lodge is in the malaria free, big 5, 75 000 ha Madikwe Game Reserve, 3h53 minute drive from Johannesburg.

Thakadu River Lodge is located within a canopy riverine, and has 12 tented suites, each with their own private deck overlooking the Marico River. There are 4 family tents that include a queen size sleeper couch for children.

The lodge offers an open plan lounge, dining area, bar, pool area and a traditional lapa offering panoramic views.

Twice daily open vehicle game drives are available during your stay.
